About Me

My name is Sam and I'll be a senior at SMC in the 2011-2012 year. I absolutely can't believe that I'm in my last year of college, but I plan to make the best of it! I was born and raised in Georgia, Vermont. I transferred into St. Mike's in the fall of 2009 and it was without a doubt the best decision I've ever made. Coming back to the beautiful Green Mountain State couldn't be better! I'm a math major with a secondary education certification.

I'm on the nordic ski team, which keeps me really busy. Balancing school with athletics takes a lot of dedication and time, but for me it's completely worth it. While I'm really involved in my team, I still make time for life at SMC. I'm a tour guide, am involved in the Founders Society, and am an Orientation Leader this year.

My life is crazy busy, but I absolutely wouldn't have it any other way. It gives me something to write about each week on this blog. Check in to hear about my adventures as I make my way through my last few years as a college student. Feel free to ask me questions or just start a conversation. Just head to the "Contact Me" tab for any and all ways to do so!
